GENERAL SERVICES
Donaldson Animal Hospital offers a full range of preventative and routine care as well as diagnostic and surgical services. These include digital radiology, ultrasound, digital dental radiology and a full in-house laboratory.

We all know how expensive good medical care has become, yet Donaldson Animal Hospital has opted to keep their prices affordable. We believe that Pet Wellness visits and routine medical attention will help your pet live a longer and healthier life. Therefore, we don't charge an office visit fee if your pet is only coming in for vaccinations!

PHARMACY
For your convenience, Donaldson Animal Hospital has a full service pharmacy.

THE LATEST MEDICAL INFORMATION
Our Doctors are members of the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), an online community of Veterinarians and Veterinary Specialists. Because of this network, we're able to access the most up-to-date medical information available for our patients.

SURGICAL and POST-SURGICAL CARE
A Doctor and Techinican are with your pet the entire time they are under anesthesia. Monitoring is provided for all anesthetized patients and includes continuous ECG monitoring, blood pressure, pulse ox, and carbon dioxide levels. Body temperature is also monitored and maintained by the use of a heated surgical table, circulating water blankets, and Bair Hugger forced air warming blankets.

Additional support can include:

• IV fluids and pre-operative, operative and post-operative pain management.
  
  
• All pets receive a courtesy nail trim while under anesthesia.
  
  
• A hugger holds your pet while they are waking up.
  
  
• Once they are fully awake we offer food to our patients, and walk dogs outside in our private, grassy, fenced in yard.
  
  

Your pet is treated to a full day of pampering when they are hospitalized!

GENERAL SURGERY INFORMATION

• We perform routine surgeries Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  
  
• Check-in is between 8am - 8:30am
  
  
• We will call you when your pet is fully awake from surgery to give you an update.
  
  
• Most patients can go home after 4pm.
  
  
• Declawed cats are hospitalized for 2 days after surgery so we may provide pain control.

MICROCHIP SERVICES
Donaldson Animal Hospital offers HomeAgain Microchips. In the unfortunate case that your pet becomes lost, this microchip helps many veterinarians and local animal shelters to better identify your pet.

This quick procedure can save you many worried hours away from your beloved pet.

DENTISTRY
Basic Dentistry: Includes ultrasonic tooth scaling, tooth polishing, dental charting, and a full oral exam including periodontal evaluation. Our basic dentistry also includes anesthetic monitoring and pain management for your pet's comfort and safety.

Comprehensive Dentistry: Includes all of our basic dental procedures as well as digital dental radiology, surgical tooth extractions and periodontal treatment if indicated.
